Why add where you can just say out loud (to a very nice 'preamp') to adjust the volume to your liking?

iiWi reviews just released a YouTube video - he is quite enthusiastic and he will buy a pair for his own:

The datasheed of Topping B200 (measured with the Audio Precision APX 555, the same that Amir uses), shows that the SINAD of the B200 is 2 dB better than the SINAD of the LA 90 Discrete, 122.25 dB instead of 120 dB. This is not audible, because everything over 116 dB is simply perfect and it is physically impossible to hear more dynamic. The physic simply just does not let it happen!
But it’s a remarkable laboratory record. They also claimed a bandwith of more than 100 kHz (just minus 0.4 dB at 100 kHz). So it seems to be an increadible „quick“ amplifier, like the Metaxas Amps, the Stax Monoblocks or the Spectral amps in the eighty’s:

What would be your opinion? Wouldn't a set of Outlaw Audio 2220 for $699 be a better deal; equally silent , powerful and more headroom? And $ left for an Wimm Ultra or Eversolo.

I would agree. The outlaw is not even nearly in the same league when it comes to noise and distortion - but the difference is probably not audible.

When trying to relax and listen to music, sometimes, I use Alexa to adjust the sound level for me

Also, it doesn't compute (make sense) in a mono amp even if you use this for your woofer.

What can I say? I am using a normal, standard Fosi V3 Amp and I am happy. I don’t think, that I would be able to hear the differences between these Topping State of the Art Devices an my little 89 Watts Fosi!
You can also consider the Fosi V3 Monos. Even cheaper than the Outlaw 2220.
But you are right: The outlaw has good laboratory results and is even more powerful than any Fosi! And Power is what counts!
But I find it nice, that there are also some Topping devices with lower Distortion and lower noise than any USD 250.000,— Amplifier. Topping for the people with the real „Golden Ears“….. Ha ha ha…..
And of course: my strongest recommandation for WiiM Streamers. I am using a WiiM pro plus and yes, WiiM is today what SONOS was 10 years ago. It simply works perfectly and makes so much fun.
I think Eversolo Products are also incredibly good!
So your decision to go with outlaw 2220 if you really need so much power, and with WiiM or Eversolo is a good decision.

'swhy I used the word "probably". Very sensitive speakers. Exceptionally quiet room and it may just be possible to hear the noise at the listening position if there is no music playing.

Though I'm gonna stick my neck out and say that noise will not be heard at the same time as even only 60dB of music.

Roger on the music will mask any/all reasonable noise level. But I strive for silence at no signal...just the way I roll. I want dynamic 90dB music to come out of dead silence. Not that I listen all the time at 90dB but I want the capability to do so.

I guess you are ignoring here, all the noise in your listening room? All 20 to 30dB (or more) of it?

ignoring ? no. Just want the audio system at no signal to not be heard. Some amps can not cut it, I have tried.

I received my two V3 monos, and they replaced a single ZA3 running my tops. Very worthwhile upgrade at least in my system (dynamics improved considerably) and allowed me to move my ZA3 to sub duties. Incredible audio bargain to be had here folks - thanks to Fosi and the ASR community for enabling this - taking away any doubts I had and then truly delivering!

that is actually an interesting point. I mean, in this day and age no one seems to argue a need for a 100+ SINAD DAC, but somehow when you start wanting an amp to be as good, there will always be someone telling you how you should just ignore the audible noise because it doesn't matter one way or another. Something just doesn't add up.

I have 2 newly installed running the bass bins in picture above..I also would like to see Amir review and measure. But for now I can say I am pleased and impressed. I jumped when they were on sale last month.

I bought a pair when they were on sale also. I'm not worried about the measurements. In the past, Topping's published data have only been a few dB more "optimistic" than what Amir's measurements show for the same products. I expect that to be the case here also.

I'm excited to see Amir's measurements because I just like to see them but at this point I think they've proven Toppings published results to be accurate.

For me personally I don't worry about tiny amounts of audible noise with no music playing as long as I cannot hear it from the listening position when the music is playing. I'm happy to accept that other people want dead silence with their ear pressed to the tweeter.

A friend of mine ordered a pair of the B200s and a set of KEF R3 Metas (with stands), I lent him a Benchmark DAC1 (with volume control) and a cd player, he is still looking in to which ones to buy. I’ll be interested in how it all works out.

For me personally I don't worry about tiny amounts of audible noise with no music playing as long as I cannot hear it from the listening position when the music is playing. I'm happy to accept that other people want dead silence with their ear pressed to the tweeter.

With my B200s there is definitely a noticable difference in regards to dead silence between my CX-81, JBL, Emotiva and Denon. It's one more thing out of the way on the path to transparency.
