k371 - broken hinge - fix solution?

hey, everyone!

i'm new here on audiosciencereview, so... nice to meet ya!

i was wondering if someone has a solution for repairing the hinge of akg k371 headset.
the official technical support of akg, in my city, is not able to fix it - nor replace it with a new hinge.
they even told me they already tried fixing it a couple of times but haven't managed to find the right glue...
but since i didn't pay much for it, i'm really willing to keep it and try repairing it by myself ‍

anyone got a clue of what could be done?

Well you're definitely not the only one with that issue:

In the past, I've successfully glued some plastic using CA glue (super glue).

We have one of those, from looking at this one, the only glue strong enough to hold it is Loctite Gel. It's thick and sets in one minute, then an hour to set up and 24 hours to cure. I've used it on other models on pressure points and it's never failed.
