along comes (and I quote from an email I received this morning from ahem Audiogon:

Magnets?! Wow, this is game-changing.
Innovative.
Disruptive.
what other tech buzzwords am I forgetting?
Plus... I wonder if they're good forArthuritis arthritis?
Sorry for fishing in a barrel!
I did do a search for these guys here and I do see they've been mentioned -- but the over the top headline in the email kinda pushed me into full-on Andy Rooney mode.
The first alternative to cabling and wiring in 200 years! Magnetic Conduction.
This new technology is the direct replacement for your pre-existing high-end cables. This new technology works directly with the audio or power signal itself, manipulating the magnetic energy associated with the electrical transfer. Utilizing the energy responsible for signal transfer is known as induction. This technology reacts with each electron's dipole moment. The dipole moment is also known as the magnetic moment solely responsible for energy transmission. The effects of a dipole moment in each electron combine to form the b-field. A b-field is a magnetic field accompanying signal transmission.
Through this manipulation, we can significantly reduce distortions and enhance signal transfer immensely. Since the cable is acting more like a magnet, these devices do not operate as standard cables do.
The direct result for audio and video playback is a much more realistic presentation sense, dramatically increasing clarity and dynamics. Virtually every aspect of an audio system is drastically improved. These new devices represent the single largest breakthrough for audiophiles, and even our most entry-level devices have system transformation capabilities that are immediately apparent.
