Got my 705p’s .., seems JBL are not aware of the fact the uk uses different sockets to the EU and the US
Fairly pathetic.

GAK from Brighton, England LoLWhere did you order them from?
No clue , can’t plug them inSo how do they sound?
Are you going to try them with the subs at some stage, they have adjustable delay to help with dialing in.
I’m not lolSurprised the dealer didn't catch the plug issue...
Beats having 48 xlr sockets on the back I guessThomas that does all sound pathetic of JBL.
Now the Intonato is 24 channels. Lots of pro gear with that many channels uses D sub connection. So that really is no hack. That isn't unusual. D subs are available with a variety of connections.
What do they sound like ?
You guys have to pay a little extra and suffer a bit of pain for always doing things the wrong way.Got my 705p’s .., seems JBL are not aware of the fact the uk uses different sockets to the EU and the US
Oh noooooo... After all these months waiting, ordering, canceling, ordering again you still can't listen to them! Shame on JBL and your dealer!Got my 705p’s .., seems JBL are not aware of the fact the uk uses different sockets to the EU and the US
Fairly pathetic.
That's an understatement! Thanks. Very interesting to read. It seems to me like a pair of 705p together with a pair of cheap subs and a bass management system (multi-sub optimizer for example) would provide pretty spectacular value for money these days.
Maybe the dealer is gray market importer. Thomas are they shown as authorized dealer on JBL site?Surprised the dealer didn't catch the plug issue...
Mine came with both US and EU cords which I thought was very smart.Maybe the dealer is gray market importer. Thomas are they shown as authorized dealer on JBL site?
So you have Thomas' power cords. Now we know.
