Jazz ♫ Music only | In the now, or recently, or that you love...

Just came across a really nice album from 2021 this morning:

Makiko Hirabayashi, Weavers (Yellowbird Records)

Really good combo playing, lovely but complex compositions...

This won the 1975 Grammy Award for Best Jazz Performance By A Big Band.

I can't believe I (re)started a blog. See there, or my signature, for more info about this hot album.

You guys need to get this thread back on track. I know Miles, Coltrane, Mingus, and other "classics", but I'm pretty new to this jazz stuff, and I need more tips! Keep 'em coming!
Almost anything by The Crusaders! Sweet and Sour, Spanish Harlem, Elegant Evening, Listen and you'll Hear,
And about 100 other amazing songs. One of my greatest regrets is never chasing them down when they were around.

Also Try Bob James, his recent; Feel Like Making Live is sensational from start to finish
