New wonderful album just released on ECM from Dino Saluzzi playing as part of a trio...El Viejo Caminate.

"The Old Wayfarer"...describes Dino pretty well.

Heard this this AM. I came late to Art Pepper. Apparently he was familiar with Bix, the Austin High Gang, et al. This is a bit different from the most common approach.

You may also like the The Route and a Picture of Heath (AKA Playboys) with Chet Baker and Pepper. FYI in case you were a new Pepper fan. Agree The Rhythm Section and + Eleven are fantastic
