It's actually a good kit. It's the best speakers I've ever owned. Blows the Linn's that I owned previously out of the water.

I apologize if i intimated that the CSS are not good speakers. The are. I love them. But now I want the best.

I wouldn't even include Linn in any rational conversation myself.

You appear to be quite uninformed, and also miss the point of this site.

You can actually spend less. The 8351B measure better, if that is your thing. They also have a lower probability of damaging your hearing. But you don't seem to be listening.

I don't follow Amir's subjective opinions at all, we probably have different opinions in that respect (and same for most subjective reviewers). He may have opinions but as to how they marry up to actual measurments, meh.

Your purpose statement is quite limiting compared to what this forum actually accomplishes. For me, at least, the purpose of this forum is to shine a rather decisive light of objective reality on all audio products, be they "good" or "bad," and everything in between. Sure, what is "good" gets compared to what is "bad," but that is secondary to the pursuit of objective truth. And I should also point out that this forum has an inherent purpose of sharing diverse perspectives amongst its members which, somewhat ironically, is precisely the purpose for which you are using it in this case.

Value is subjective. Depends on time and place and circumstance. I like wide diversity in music. Most is junk. Some are gems.
