Started Ikea 1943 age 17.
Ikea now has ~362 warehouses around the globe with ~170 000 employees.
A true entrepreneur.

I visited IKEA here in Tampa soon after it opened (when the excited crowds had died down a bit) . Hmm. Palm trees. The first hint something wouldn't be as I expected.

I was disappointed when I began looking at the labels and was unable to actually find anything that was actually Made In Sweden.

Finally, I did, but I wasn't interested in buying that particular article.

I think the Little Woman bought some nice Tea Candles.

Looking at them now. Somewhat surprisingly, the label says Made in United States.

Can't miss the opportunity to watch at this scene again...
