I am planning to upgrade my home theater (dedicated) speakers to better sounding one. Use of the system is 90% movies 10% music
Current Klipsch inwall speakers are working OK, but I felt something is missing in vocals and main audio out of LCR.

Can you suggest upgrade of LCRs with budget ~3-4K?
Few options in my mind,
  • Triad Silver LCR
  • JBL Synthesis SCL-6 (based on Erin's review)
Front ceiling speaker is at 40degree from seating position, and rear ceiling one 10 degree to back (almost down firing).
I am also would like to upgrade ceiling speaker and surrounds later this year or early next year. Any suggestions here also welcome.

My current setup,
  • Room 21 x 15 x 9, 6” wall thickness, carpet floor, GIK room treated.
  • Screen - 150” Silver Ticket AT screen
Speakers (in wall)
  • LCR – 3 x Klipsch PRO-250RPW LCR
  • Surround – 2 x Klipsch R5650-SII
  • Surround back – 2x Klipsch R-5800-W
  • Ceiling – 4x Klipsch CDT-5800 C II
  • Subwoofer - 2x SVS PB-3000
Equipment
  • Epson 5050
  • Monoprice HTP-1 (recent upgrade from Marantz SR6013)
  • Buckeyeamp Purifi 1ET400A 3 channel for LCR (recent upgrade from Outlaw 2200)
  • Buckeyeamp Hypex NC252MP 8 channel for other channels

Thanks
Francis

Does anyone have familiarity with Phase Technologies CI130 or CI160? These models are not really discussed much in forums.
