Focal Aria 906 Speaker Review

Hi,
I’m looking for information about lighter-colored grilles for the Focal Aria 906 and CC 900 speakers.
  1. Are grilles in lighter colors available for these models?
  2. Can they be purchased separately, or are there third-party options?
  3. Are there any alternative solutions for getting lighter grilles, such as custom fabrication?
Would appreciate any insights or recommendations.
Thanks!

It doesn’t look like there were lighter color grilles for the older Aria line, just the Vestia line.

Custom fabrication is easy for any seamstress/dress maker or even doing it yourself.

The frames are the proprietary element so you will either need to sacrifice your existing grilles or buy replacement ones as donor units, or attempt to over wrap your existing grilles with an additional layer of fabric.

Unless you measure it, there is no way to know the impact of two layers of fabric although I suspect the differences will just be a tiny bit of attenuation and no real audible difference when level matched. Most of the effect of the grille is from the frame in my opinion.

Agree with @GXAlan and will add a friend had a wood shop do grilles...eh. Next try he had his picture framer do it, someone who is used to stretching fabric (canvas) all day. Came out much better. Good luck! Or, just take your grilles to a tanning salon, bleach them with UV...
