Old, but still fantastic:

Kate Louise Smith, a.k.a. Voice Of An Angel
She might sing great if they didn't use that pulsing level/echo effect on the whole recording. Couldn't listen to it for more than a minute. o_O Sorry.

This is why the genre's name is "trance". :) For me, the effect is quite therapeutic actually. Youtube's sound quality is not up to the task though, Aurosonic mixes deserve better. Some are available for free download, try them on a good system preferrably with full range speakers and/or a sub.

Guess I'm really stuck in the past, never heard of a "trance" genre. But after a quick google I learned there really is such a thing, you didn't make it up. LOL To each their own, enjoy. ;)

Ditto.

I believe some music styles go with or after 'club drugs'. Don't know about that one, though the genre name sort of indicates a consciousness thing.

My favorite female voice since I was 13 ......... Chrissie Hynde. Even if she wanted, this voice can't sing wrong:

I love the entire CD "Joyfull", the baseline throughout the recording on headphones is great, I like its "Letter by Letter" the best ...... from Nigeria, living in Frankfurt, Germany ......... Ayo:

And last but not least ...... the last CD I have heard 1000 times and more is the one mic recording, Carmen Gomes, from the small but fine dutch label Sound Liaison. Recorded using just one microphone (Josephson C700S), the recordings only allow small combos that can be placed in a circle around the mic. No mixing after the recording is possible any longer. With Great results!!

Carmen Gomes' voice is hot, hot, hot!!!!!!
