No. Not if you attenuate at the KEF's.

For what it’s worth, feeding the eversolo A6 digital output into my SMSL D6s Dac, I can control the volume if I turn off volume pass through in the settings menu.

I actually run full volume on both dac and eversolo into my pass labs preamp, but the volume is a bit to high so granularity is too course on the X1. I have played with slightly adjusting volume on both the Smsl and eversolo, I might slightly prefer doing it on the eversolo

So now, for my setup,i wonder if using eversolo coax output directly into coax input of a hypex fusion 503 would better sounding than eversolo xlr output going into xlr input of hypex fusion


I know that going digital the further is the best on book, but will it be audible?

Technically I was using USB for my connection. But since its pre-processing before sending I can't see why coax wouldn't do it.

Here I use XLR out of the A-8/A-6 into the analogue ’ins’ of the ‘Mantas’ you will have to experiment.

With the A6 if I am listening to uPnP and I try to switch to Spotify connect, sound doesn’t come out. It will show the track as playing, but there is no volume. I end up having to reboot the whole box.

Anyone know how to get around this?

I am listening to files off my NAS. Ie. I have placed rips of my CDs in lossless flac format onto a synology network attached storage. The eversolo is connected to it through a network hub.

All works fine, but when I try to listen to something from Spotify, I first pause the track I’m listening to from uPnP input. I select the eversolo through my Spotify on my phone and select a song. The eversolo shows the Spotify song as playing but…. No sound. I pause Spotify and hit play… no sound. I go forward and back tracks on Spotify… no sound.

I have to reboot, then can here the sound

Did you change the input source in the app?
upnp may be from the usb C input? If it is you need to change it to internal player on the input maybe ?

UPnP is “internal”. It is from the Ethernet port

Try this
Instead of pausing the song you are playing actually stop it . Then also delete the other tracks if you have any in the queue .
Then try Spotify…

I guess it depends what app you are using . I use Roon and recall a similar issue
I seem to remember I had to delete the queue of what I was playing

So you are using the Eversolo app.
Go into your play queue and delete everything in it .

I loose my playlists eveeytime i rescan my HDD ...help please

I populated songs in some playlist, i still see the 9 playlist i have, but they are empty after rescaning hdd ... whats going on... that a major problem to me

I think when I am sorting by album and pick a song it does add all the songs in the album to the queue though… maybe have to manually delete all of those first? I can try it I suppose

I seem to recall that’s what I had to do ……but I was using roon . I wanted to try tidal connect and the Eversolo did not show up on the tidal app

i solved it by deleting my queue in Roon .
