damn that Homecine dealer....got me really tempted since i had to cancel an order on something else that had the availabilty date moved every few days...

it depends heavily on size/weight, regular sized amps up to about 20kg aren't that much in shipping (tho i checked for the large Focals, they would be some 240 or so € for me)
Another dealer from France, fnac, offer much lower shipping cost to me (like 20e vs 350e) on same item. But fnac is known to have terrible customer service, while homecinesolutions is known to have one of the best. well, you can't have everything I guess

Try Australia. Europe is great, perhaps not as strong second hand market as over the pond, but just look up prices of Focal or Genelec over there and Europe does alright.This was an amazing offer too bad i missed it
