Hey all,

I happen to purchase a new Fostex T50rp mk3 with Dekoni Elite Velour pads and wanted to setup a new PEQ for them. I have tried the Innerfidelity PEQ from AutoEQ repository but those are for stock pads, they are a bit harsh on the treble with stock pads and eq.

I'll list stock settings below and hope someone can guide me to setup the right settings.

Preamp: -6.5 dB
Filter 1: ON PK Fc 62 Hz Gain 10.2 dB Q 0.19
Filter 2: ON PK Fc 115 Hz Gain -12.0 dB Q 0.51
Filter 3: ON PK Fc 978 Hz Gain -2.7 dB Q 2.57
Filter 4: ON PK Fc 1956 Hz Gain 2.9 dB Q 2.80
Filter 5: ON PK Fc 6335 Hz Gain 3.8 dB Q 6.12
Filter 6: ON PK Fc 42 Hz Gain 1.2 dB Q 3.81
Filter 7: ON PK Fc 73 Hz Gain -1.1 dB Q 3.59
Filter 8: ON PK Fc 465 Hz Gain 0.8 dB Q 3.68
Filter 9: ON PK Fc 4444 Hz Gain -2.2 dB Q 2.80
Filter 10: ON PK Fc 5373 Hz Gain 1.3 dB Q 3.42

Thank you.

My EQ advice is.
Put a single ply of tissue under the foam in front of driver and tape off the baffle vents surrounding the foam.
Take a piece of tape and cover the vent on the back of the cup so that only a few millimeters of each slat are still showing. I used ordinary electrical tape for both front and back.
