Amir, did you click on the Most Likes from above? → http://forums.stevehoffman.tv/members/?type=likes
{And look @ their total number of posts in comparison; guess how they accumulate all those Likes?}

• Just one example:

Tuna82
Well-Known Member, Male, from Raleigh, NC
Messages: 277

This ↑ member has 90,001 "Likes" and only 277 posts (messages) => That's a 32,491.34% ratio of "likes"!
_____

Most Posts on an internet forum
"whats the most posts you've seen on an internet forum, just looking at a united forum with a member who has 500,000 + posts , which is 180+ a day"
________

In Japan, in audio forums, the most active members are in the six digits.
But if they are registered officially and anonymously @ various other forums, and posting, they are in the millions of posts per each individual!

* https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_forum

"In areas such as Japan, registration is frequently optional and anonymity is sometimes even encouraged.[29] On these forums, atripcode system may be used to allow verification of an identity without the need for formal registration. People who do not register and/or post are often referred to as "lurkers".

◄↕► Those are statistic numbers!

<<<♦>>> QUESTION:
When was the first time ever of an internet forum where people started to post messages?

A subtle point, Amir, but perhaps changeable ... I note, for me at least on Firefox, that the date stamp of each post is at the bottom of the entry - I find I'm constantly scrolling down on long posts to see when it was posted before reading, then scrolling up again - a slight inconvenience.

Could this possibly be altered?

Thanks,

It can but requires custom modification which may get lost when we upgrade the system. So unless there is strong demand for it, let's leave it the way it is.
Fair enough ... thanks!

When the site gets 5,000 members, would be cool to have couple more options...with darker background.
...Say by Christmas time? :)
...And for sources of revenues? ...About Microsoft corporation and Harman Kardon Inc. collaboration?
...Just to start off. ...Then some music record labels...like Reference Recordings, Channel Classics, ECM, ...

Hey, this is the forum suggestion box...so I suggest.

And later on, with 50,000 members, you could ask for free gift certificates from generous donors.
...Stuff you can sell on eBay. :)

You don't have a fancy little icon on the browser tabs like (most) other sites have.

Find out who did it, and nail 'em.

It is there now but you need to do a forced refresh in your browser to see it since you all were here before I installed them.

If I were to give you advice at this point, it would be to hone your appreciation of droll humor which often requires no further response.

I was @ audionirvana ... they have a new look.
I was @ avshowrooms ... they have the same look.
I checked my emails ... I had a bunch from audiosciencereview ... again! ...But I just found a new setting; unwatching all threads ... hope it resolves that issue.

Presentation counts for a lot, people counts for everything, content is between...

Is there a way to see a list of the members, that's just ordered alphabetically?

I have that ability but doesn't look like it is exposed in the interface you see. If you are trying to find someone, do a search and try typing some of the letters and the system will suggest all the possible aliases.
