Dirac Live Exclamation Mark issue

Can you be more specific? I have Dirac and one of those Harman Luxury receivers and it would be good to know what issues people are having.
It is impossible to summerise all my post in Avsforum since 2 years. Suffice to say if you paid for DLBC licence (not basic DL or DLBM) stay with Dirac v3.4.4 and none update above this works properly. I repeat I speak of DLBC not DL or DLBM.

And

I still can’t get consistent precise measurements with my minidsp HTx. Tried again last week. This time in a near field setup (same room, same system).

When you say consistent precise measurements are you talking about frequency or timing? What microphone? While the UMIK-1 works well for frequency measurements it is known to have issues with timing measurements. https://www.avnirvana.com/threads/acoustic-phase-measurements.13300/#post-99941
"Imprecise measurement, can be used but not for phase correction". I use a umik-2 and a million tests for Dirac / MiniDSP. Given up. I just post this every now and then to remind people that it's not a slam dunk result.

As of now what is the best bet to beat this?
1 downgrade dirac version
2 buy umik 2
3 buy another mic

I don't know if it is relevant for miniDSP but you must set Win10 or 11 inyour laptop to Dirac to take exclusive control of the mic settings in win10 or win11

How is that done?

From Dirac v3.10.3
To improve the quality of measurements with microphones connected to Windows PCs, WASAPI Exclusive Mode will be activated by default in some cases.

To control whether Exclusive Mode is used or not in your case, and thereby override the default behavior, please follow these steps:

Click the Windows button, type “env”, and hit Enter

Click the "Environment Variables..." button

Click the "New..." button under "User variables for <user>" (or select DAUDIO_WASAPI_NON_EXCLUSIVE and click “Edit…” if it already exists)

Enter Variable name: DAUDIO_WASAPI_NON_EXCLUSIVE

Variable value "OFF" = Exclusive Mode enabled

Variable value "ON" = Exclusive Mode disabled (the old behavior)

Click “OK”

Restart the Dirac Live application

Verify that it is possible to complete a calibration.

FWIW, the current version of DLBC and a UMIK-1 work well for me (never throw up measurement errors) and produce good results.

I'm using the stand-alone processor, not an AVR, if that matters.

All I get are "imprecise measurements".
Try a different USB input on the PC. It is also possible to connect the mic directly to the M33.
Are you using the NAD mic?
