I have a Linux Mint box as my HTPC after de-microsofting my lifestyle. It was surprisingly easy with enough googling. I managed to get Plex running natively and roon running with the help of bottles. (bottles is like Wine, a windows emulator). It works amazingly well. The last thing I need is to get my Dirac Live multichannel standalone processor to work on linux, plugged into a Denon 3600. I am amazed at how little I can find on the web when it comes to Dirac and Linux. Dirac is essential to my enjoyment of my home theater system.
I managed to get the Standalone processor running with a standard bottles configuration. However there are no config files to load and see if it works. When I try to run the Dirac Live Calibrator in Wine I get nothing. No error message, no nothing. Has anyone ever gotten it to work?
I will try to find the calibration files from my windows box and load them in the Linux standalone processor and see what happens. I'll update this post with results, but I'd appreciate any help from the community.
