Yes, mine 3600 his out of warranty. I get a new one, and here in europe is 3 years warranty. My concerns were DAC of 3800h ... I read Amirn review ...do you get a new one with a new warranty? I know the 3700h had a better DAC but I don't know about the 3600H but the warranty is a big deal because if your unit goes out, it's going to cost a pretty penny to fix it.
Maybe Europe is friendlier but I'd expect any repair to run $500 in the States minimum.

Can you get the 3800H and try it with the 3600H?
Nop. I have an offer of 700€ for 3600H , and i can buy the 3800h in Germany for 850€.

The 3800H goes for 850 euro in Germany? Denon and Marantz really dislike Americans. They treat us like 3rd class citizens - not even 2nd class.
For an extra €150 it's a no brainer for me.
An extra 3 year warranty and the option of adding Dirac if you so wish. The 3800 also has more flexibility as regards to disabling internal amps, I believe.
The slightly lower SINAD etc wouldn't concern me at all, I doubt whether you'd actually hear a difference.

Better than the 3700 made after the Spring of 2021, but the 3700s before that have the same dac chip
The better chip has lower noise and distortion that most likely won't make audible difference. So, for 150 Euro more, my suggestion is , go for the 3800.

3800. Auro 3D. No brianer.
If you ever intend on having 4 subs or want Dirac (and possibly DLBC and/or ART) then the 3800. Note that Dirac, DLBC, and ART all are at an extra expense.
I should also add that while Dirac DLBC and ART are costly, they are very good and worth the expense IMO.
