Use dBFS instead of dBr.What I am doing wrong in Jtest 16 and 24 and I get more than 0db reading even with -70db or lower gain (even at -100db,haven't tested lower) setting?

I don't mean in the chart,I mean actual level,it clips!Use dBFS instead of dBr.
Sorry, but what clips and how do you know that it clips?I don't mean in the chart,I mean actual level,it clips!
See the EMU playing gain at -4.98 dbr with 0db play gain?Sorry, but what clips and how do you know that it clips?
Red bar is shown when a some samples reach a level close to 0dBFS. JTest signal is generated at a certain dBFS level, play gain adjustment has no effect on it.See the EMU playing gain at -4.98 dbr with 0db play gain?
Now look at khadas 0dbr at -70db play gain.
The bar becomes red.
I see.Red bar is shown when a some samples reach a level close to 0dBFS. JTest signal is generated at a certain dBFS level, play gain adjustment has no effect on it.
-70dB or -200dB play gain setting will still generate and output at the same exact level as required by JTest signal specification.I see.
So something broken somewhere.
I'll test and see,thank you!
JTest is 1/4 of the sampling rate square wave plus the least significant bit being toggled every 192 samples, IIRC.20-96000 ??? 96000?
jtest 24 bit in 48k ( 12khz) !
(normally at -3.01db)
