Hello everyone. After the measurement event hosted by
@Nuyes, I received a pair of A6B speakers.
While I haven’t had the chance to set them up in my room or measure their in-room response due to the lack of an amplifier, I would like to share a brief unboxing experience with you.
Each speaker is individually boxed and labeled with the model name and serial number.
When I open the box, I see a very thick foam cushioning and a cloth pouch.
The box has three layers that are so thick that they are hard to fold. This box should keep the speakers inside safe and secure, even in rough shipping conditions.
Once the foam cushioning is removed, a pouch wrapped around the speaker and small rubber bumphones are visible.
I was able to lift the purch's mouth up and safely extract the speaker.
Having already discussed the packaging in detail, I would now like to present the appearance of the speakers themselves.
Ideally, I would showcase A6Bs on a stylish wooden table under natural sunlight, but given the limited space in my room, I had to take the photos on my bed.
As a result, it was challenging to fully capture the texture and material of the speakers in the photos.
This is the baffle we'll be facing.
You can see the slightly curved waveguide and the shiny aluminum Purifi woofer. The cute logo is a plastic sticker.
Look at this beautiful acoustic lens.
The screw holes for the Purifi woofer are covered by the trim ring.
The trim ring is held in place with magnets. This trim ring can be removed and the grille can be mounted, again with magnets.
The backside with the binding posts.
The aluminum plate is finished with a polished hairline and secured with round-head screws. The serial number is a paper sticker.
Side view. You can see the aluminum Purifi passive radiator, which is located at the same level as the woofer in the baffle.
The top and bottom are just plates.
Black grilles. As mentioned earlier, they are mounted to the speaker with magnets. The magnets are attached to the inner ring.
Overall, the speaker feels very solid and soft to the touch. I want to leave them on the bed.
AsciLab has begun its global release, and I eagerly anticipate that those of you interested in these speakers will soon have the chance to experience the A6B, C6B, and C5B for yourselves.
