Saw the Allman Brothers a few times, one time Dicky Betts did a 35 minute solo while everyone else took a break in the middle of the show. Then they all returned and the show continued.

In Memory of Elisabeth Reed was a top favorite on this album back in the day. Great guitar solo on that one. Playing it now.

I've been working on playing that one on solo guitar using double-stops for a couple years. Fun to figure out, tough to play at speed, but a good regimen for practicing.

Cool. That one is unique for the Allman Bros., almost a symphonic instrumental, with changes in meter and harmonies and rhythm players have quite a lot happening in background. Wore out that LP. Nice to play it again and still love it from many years ago.

I like the brothers from another mother. One of my friends calls me that.
