How come no reporter has ever asked "Mike" about his lisp!"
If there is a gap between the two upper teeth (and it causes whistling thru that gap while talking): Is that called a lisp?

Perhaps whistling compounded by a lisp. I am certain some of his problem has got to do with hitting opponents' gloves with his noggin'!

So, I am gonna put this in "humor" because... well, in a sad way, it certainly seems funny.
Y'all likely know of this legacy of "hybrid" vacuum tube/solid state amplifiers of low price and ill-defined provenance that feature rather random choices of vacuum tubes. The main issue with some of them (perhaps many) is whether the vacuum tubes in the amps actually do anything to the signal.

PartsExpress has a new, top-of-the-line model that certainly stretches credulity.

Check out the claim for the "6H2 pentode" (assuming it is in fact a pentode and not a rectifier)
EDIT: well, it looks like the 6H2 is a twin diode, but not a high voltage rectifier for power supply use. Rather, it's a 6AL5-like twin diode for radio detector use. mmmm...

PS What if anything is under those two "transformer covers" on this amplifier? It does not have transformer coupled outputs. It probably doesn't have a linear power supply, either. ;)

This item wouldn't sound so funny if the price is <$250 <$350 (with S/H)!

A splendid auxiliary heater...
