I don't know how long ago that picture was made but it is edging towards 33 already....

But I do have to say We're Number One!!!!!
Ouch! That's very disconcerting. Just one trillion dollars is a mind-boggling amount of money, and we're in hock for $33 trillion! That is beyond crazy.
To put that amount of money in perspective, let's say you are immortal and born the same day as Jesus, so still living today. And let's say that you've been paid $1 million dollars every day of your life from year zero to now. You still would not have even one trillion dollars. That $1 million-per-day payout would only add up to $739 billion.
We are in big trouble...

I can see this national debt topic turning political real fast. We don’t want that. So I am asking nicely for us all to change the topic. This is the Humor thread and this sure as hell is not funny. We very much appreciate your support and cooperation with this.

My folks had the 61 ? Lancer. All I can remember is that it was blue and had a push button transmission - - which I fiddled with, one day, waiting for my parents to sign me up for Camp Wakanda (I'm NOT kidding!) and it 'took off' into the woods with me along for the ride.
My first bit of automotive excitement.
IRCC, it was a cute car, but not well suited for a family with 4 'destructo' boys! Replaced a few years later with a Dodge Coronado.

Does the fruit fall far from the tree?
