No we listen at all volume levels. In order to know what an amp can do you need to hear it at all levels.

So I can tell which one you prefer while sitting in my couch 5000 km away.

Because the LT regs are better than their discrete solution. The signal path is much shorter as well.

I prefer the Purifi's hands down over any of the Hypex MP series. In fact for 200w and under I prefer the TPA3255/3251 based Icepower 100/200as modules. Cheaper, smaller, cooler, and better sounding.

It’s maybe a 1hr job to run new wires to the drivers and route them out of the binding post holes. A service could even be setup where they could ship the speakers to have it done, and the crossover tuned to perfection if they’re not up for the task themselves. Then once I have the DSP profile...

So if a harmonic is at 30k are we going to hear it? I only care about what I can hear.

My measurement is THD+N not SNR.

I’m not aggressive at all. That’s under a 4 ohm load.

Also that Purifi SNR is without a buffer. My amp can be driven to full output power with 4v input.
