Very interesting how this manufacturer of car audio amps not only uses a custom amp co-developed with Purifi using Eigentakt technology, but also TI OPA1612 opamps and ESS ES9039Q2M DAC chip. And Made in Germany too. What a beast of an amp!

No idea on pricing yet, but of course it will be on the high-end side.

Not much to say about the amp,it should be really nice.
But casework is top-notch,finish is my taste exactly.

That's a lot of DC Volts to output that kind of power spec. Is that RMS Watts or Watts<?>

Audiotec Fisher is great. One of the reps is here @Dumdum (but as a hobbyist as opposed to a company rep).

The drop-in replacement for the BMW Hi-Fi system with DSP was able to do very well in this blind test*.

If you look on the website, they do link to PDF reviews where measurements are provided.

You do have take this in the context of automotive audio driving 2 ohm loads, etc.

Can't wait to put one of these in my Subaru....

:p

Unfortunately they only have the 2ch so far. I'd need 5 of them to power my system. $$$

I am the Dsp tuning tech guy for the uk distributor now and have direct contact with Julian Fischer of Audiotec Fischer who’ve developed it with purifi

I was privy to some seminars at the euro finals last week in Austria

The Amp is designed to work with the mighty Brax Dsp and has a coax and optical input so the Dsp sends full scale digital signal and also an encoded volume signal to the amp so volume is controlled at the very end of the signal chain

Price will be around 3.5-4k euros I was led to believe but tbd… and more to come from the revelation range I think down the line

They also have the same sabre dac chip available as an upgrade to the Brax Dsp which supports modular output sections and is offered as the sabre dac output sections with up to 8v outputs

They also have lots of other Dsp solutions that work well from AVR 12v outputs

I’ll see if I can get some audio precision 555 graphs for it, Julian told me it’s very near the limit of what the machine can measure because of how clean the amp is

It is possible with class D topology employed with Purifis modules and with a good reason since the usual compact sized highend Brax class AB with high class A bias amps are great sounding but toasty which accelerated failures with e-caps dying seen in various install <10 yrs or even <5 yrs old.

I will certainly stay with my 14 yrs old class AB Steg Masterstroke Class A and MSK1500 amps still running fine albeit much bigger in size with ample built-in quiet fan that may not be possible for many cars.

Heat kills electronics and Brax option of class D highend solution in compact size is indeed a relevation and hope to audition a complete Brax install soon with mandatory expert tuning of course.

Cheers.

Rms watts, sorry I didn’t notice the question… they make that power on 12-14.4v, all Brax amps are regulated so make rated power irrespective of input voltage

For example in my car I could use 15.5v lithium supply, but I choose to use a mega stable 13.6v as any extra voltage would get turned to heat as it got dropped and lowered regardless

Car amps are great. I specialized in high end car audio repair for in the 90s and found it to be sooper benchwork. It required some additional tools to manage those highly thermally conductive PCBs and the larger and smaller irons for soldering (4 different sizes actually) and large Hewlett Packard regulated DC power supplies for the amps and even had a K-nob itron which was a novelty joke but it was a very very old piece of DC power supply gear with a huge knob on the front and it came from the factory called the K-nobitron. It was a huge variac that could be would up and down to change the DC output voltage so it was not regulated and required a operator for safety...LoL. But anyway so I probably repaired tens of thousands of pieces of car audio gear and then MOD'd another ~9000 units for major manufacturers and importers that had gear in numbers that needed MODs and tweaks. So I was doing mass modification by the truckload and even the pallet load if smaller orders. So I have some idea of what you speak. :D

Each module is about usd550 in Japan and you will need 4x for 4 ways and 3x for 3 ways to swap out the aged akm dac based ones .. but as they say, it is all about implementation which I certainly will not doubt Brax's ... you can get this dac or rather its superior non mobile version in many low cost chifi dac. Cheers.

I’ll just leave this here… I don’t possess them yet, but pick them up on Saturday when I’m at HQ doing some training for a uk dealer that’s a whole heap of flagship amplifiers… 8ch of power around 300wrms each channel

The mx4 pro will be used with analogue (it will take digital inputs just fine) and use the Ess (as per the rx2 pro digital input module) outputs in the Brax Dsp as they are superior to the Texas Instruments dacs in the mx4 pro….

The RX2 pro will use the disac2 which effectively keeps the signal digital from source (iPhone 15 pro and smsl po100 pro via coax) through the dsp and into the amplifier, the dac then also controls the output level from the amplifier (via a carrier signal encoded with the digital data stream) to maximise signal to noise in the chain, so as I adjust the volume controller of the dsp the amplifier adjusts its output levels

I also have two Helix C one 1.1kw class AB mono blocks bridged to run an 18” very special neodymium motor, 3” coil that will be one of four that will be coming into the uk as test pieces in true IB venting out through the spare wheel well

The last setup I had with its ferrite cousin off 1kw did mighty impressive 6hz demos and just floated the car up and down and wobbled the bulkhead

Custom design, which was originally based on the 1ET7040SA.

- 2 x 150 WRMS @8ohm
- 1 x 470 WRMS @8ohm (bridge-mode)
Not sure what you’re actually trying to say?

Mine do 300wrms x2 and 1k into 4ohms as measured on an ap555, not based on any particular amp module, Audiotec Fischer bought the rights to use the amplifier design and then built the rest of the circuit around it , it’s not using purifi amplifier modules with a 12v power supply added on at all as some elsewhere have theorised
