Surely that was just a stupid April Fools joke.
That was my first thought.
However, it's a real 'thing' that sells for a typically Dysonesque asking price, i.e. far more than what it's actually worth.
If the build quality is anything like their vaccuum cleaners then durability and operational longevity (lifetime) will be questionable at best.
I have a 25 year old DC02 that's still going strong, used every week. Why? Because like BMW they used to build products that last!
Now, so many companies are making stuff to cost and thus, built with sub-par materials and components, with built-in obsolescence and reduced operational lifetime expectancy.
Sad times.
