Sure, one can listen as long as they want to when comparing devices in a non-sighted comparison... the key is not knowing which is which, subject to auditory memory limitations of course. Having a pre-conceived notion doesn't invalidate the test, as that "bias" is removed by comparing the sources blind. It's not like one won't hear a difference (if there is one to be heard) simply because they don't "believe" and vice versa.Otherwise I find longer listening sessions more useful.
