How does that particularly matter, tho?

Maybe because of different applications somewhat. Cars usually need lower impedance setup.

Good thing, too. That's why 10AWG and bigger is readily available and cheap

I use Mogami W3104 4 Conductor 12 AWG made in Japan and fused in pro studios!

Cheaper is Belden 1860A CL2P/Plenum Unshielded Speaker Cable BC 2x12AWG
