How is this possible given the measurements? Can’t wrap my brain around it

Not to mention, the looks are stunning, and not in the good way. Remember it's Stereophile.

I know I know, it’s Stereophile … but how is it possible to do this with a straight face?
Getting paid for essentially nothing is a big impetus.

I know the money talks, but this just seems glaringly over the top, even for Stereophile
Nah. They give glowing reviews to stuff that looks far worse. And maybe somebody wanted a nice notch at 4kHz. You pay extra for that.

There are other $70k loudspeakers that measure this horrendous? I dunno, this might take the crown

Oh my, no. Look at the worst measurements thread.

No off-axis measurements this time? One wonders why?

\the geometry of the Innovative listening room meant that it wasn't possible to move the microphone and its stand more than 15° to the side of the optimal axis to measure its behavior off-axis.

Keep in mind that brief dips are hard to hear, unless a note happens to fall right there and fades down.

Fair enough … but again, $70k for this?

Check out that thread. Some are well over $100k and look like they hurt your ears.

You're not paying for technical excellence here. Manufacturers like Magico or Revel are pretty unique.

And yes, Genelec does far better, but does not cater to the odd audiophile aesthetics.

Also a 10 inch ported woofer with an incredible LF extension of...50Hz.

Usually I ignore this nonsense from Stereophile, it is to be expected, but again this just seems so blatant. Ugh

I only look at the measurements. The text is usually just disturbing, anyways.
