What Speakers Would You Like Amir To Measure Next?

I've got a pair of these arriving tomorrow. I'd love to see a review and proper spinorama. They were first released way back in 2005 and seem to have slipped under the radar with regards to the new trend towards bookies over the past few years. None of the usual suspects on youtube have reviewed them. They're marketed mainly for surround systems but I'm going to give them a shot in my 2.2 near field system. Impressive cabinet weight for the size at 12.1 lbs. each (nice piano gloss finish too).

The users manual lists the crossover frequency at 3kHz.

Yep. The recently released spinorama for Ascend Acoustics Sierra-2EX V2 seems well designed as well.

Yes, I'm currently trying to " wait it out" in order to grab a pair of 2 ex's locally.. I hope it works out.. I generally see a pair or 2 every few months on c-list...the temptation to go with new is pretty strong though...a pair of used bmr's wouldn't hurt my feelings either...That graph shows even less rising treble than the original, and the original doesn't have much in the way of rising treble...i hope those come out soon , that will make the 2 ex more plentiful on the used market...

The 7Hz Zero IEMs for $20.

Not sure if Crinacle also helped with these like with the Truthear Zero, but in his data they measure similarly but with deeper bass and slightly less treble in the presence region, and for <1/2 the price.

I have a terrible ear, but I think I like them even more than the Truthear, except the 7Hz’s shell has hard corners whereas the Truthear is curved, so the Truthear is slightly more comfortable. But due to the $20 price tag, I for sure care even less if they get lost when using them for travel.

Would be nice to compare these w/ our top contenders like Genelec 8361 and Neumann KH 420.

PMC 6-2, it's a studio monitor. I have seen some mastering engineers using PMCs, just like ATCs :)

It would also be good to measure some of the more popular and hyped "high end" speakers of today. The newer B&W 800 series, Harbeth's actual lineup, Zu audio, Devore, Sonus Faber, Tekton, Tannoy Heritage series, ... it would debunk some as very bad, and others will come out better than most expect I think. But it will be few (ony Harbeth and some of the Tannoy i think). But if those will be send in by the manufacturor i doubt...

Neumann KH150
KH150 is here. I just need to finish rescuing the Klippel NFS from all the boxes from our move and then I will be testing it. Hopefully very soon now....

This is great news! Thankyou for doing these tests! Look forward to seeing the results. I’m would love to see how both the Focal Solo6 ST6 and IK iLoud Precision compare to both the Neumann KH120 and KH150.

Did you measure the Neumann KH120’s?
