Just listened to a Roy Eldridge compilation from the '30s. Last night before going to sleep it was some Purcell chamber music. While I shaved it was the Buddy Rich big band from the '40s. I'm developing a hankering for Joe Hill Louis.

With the anniversary arriving tomorrow, the soundboard of Led Zeppelin's April 27, 1969 concert at the Fillmore West in San Francisco.

Terrific recording of the band when they were very young and still had everything to prove. The performance of "You Shook Me" can be found in the dictionary illustrating the entry for "indescribably ****ing heavy".
