The excellent Virtins Multi Instrument software has been updated to v3.9
Looks like the update was published on April 23rd 2020.

MI is excellent because it's very powerful AND can be automated through .NET API.
It's also quite cheap.

MI 3.8 had a bug when using higher window size (only with very low N+D, though)
They promised a fix for release 3.9. - EDIT: I can now confirm: it is fixed.

I've also asked, on their "whishlist" forum, for a Multi tone TD+N, as "the percentage of the square root of the ratio of power of all noise bins to the power of multitone. Intermodulation distortion in Square+sine mode is expressed as DIM (%), to have a figure associated to the Noise and distortion measured with a 32 1/3 octave Multitone signal, by removing all he 32 tones and measuring what's left"
and they say it's now included.

I'll give it a try now. :)

TDN (dB) with a 31 tone test signal

TDN value is -105.8 dB

Input signal averages at -24.0dBFS (as we can also see on the spectrum display)

MI 39 TDN.png

(RME ADI-2 Pro fs, +13dBu range, -0.2dBFS output, Balanced in and out, Y cable from 1 output to both inputs, averaged inputs)
(TDN = Total Distortion + Noise)

Cool :)
