Good morning and okay I had to ask this Question? Can you use Litz Wire for diy Audio wire in your Hifi System? I just came across this type of wire and was curious about the clams some diyer’s post? Less skin effect on wires and less jumping as they call it? from wire to wire if it’s
stranded and the wires are not individually wrapped ? Am just asking and wondering what everyone thinks? I have no idea if this clam or theory has been tested or not? Thanks Jeff

Both skin and "jumping" effect are completely irrelevant at audio frequencies. They're a concern at radio frequencies only. Anyone who claims differently doesn't know what they're talking about.

You can use this type for audio, but its properties are useless and it's a waste of money.

Sure you can use them, I still have some nice pure silver Litz interconnects from the old days which work fine. Do they sound any different? Nope, not with modern amplifiers, but purely for personal pleasure I like to use them on my phono inputs.

Awesome advice and the answers I needed. Thanks Jeff
