I actually think the PS Audio stuff is hideous. They're sort of a brutalist expression with no elegance at all.

The stuff that uses LCD screens seems to be not very hi-res. The LCDs look cheap. At least Mac does cool stuff with their LCDs.

I think most of their designs look quite nice.

I hate those round porthole-style screens. The sooner they go out of style, the better.

Those ventilation slots are a classic example of over-designing.

Eclipse Monos look even weirder up close.
It must be the only piece of gear I would get even with these looks.

Their small stuff looks clean and nice, but their bigger stuff just looks to me like industrial medical equipment or a prop from a space movie. Either it is the control for an MRI or it is the module that needs repaired so that they can get a signal to earth.

Yeah. The designer was trying too hard and blew it.

Ugly, uglier, and the topic title here ugliest. Most of the photos here don't achieve even ugly in my opinion. Some are silly or funny (makes me LOL), some are meh, some are in bad taste or represent an aesthetic that turns me off but don't count as ugly. The B&W Nautilus achieves it, rising to the level of ugly but most other stuff here, not so much.

Yep, we are almost there, just give a couple more years, thought police is on the horizon, at least if it's up to some people.

This..... takes the cake , looks like craft project from school when the poor designers had their sense of style erased by an radiation therapy machine ( Therac-25 with the bugg )

Those heatsinks would work bet in an upright position so that convective airflow could happen to help with the cooling.
