Looks uncomfortable to sit in. If I happened upon one, it would become a display item only, like an artwork piece.

With Larry, I can well imagine that he is a real show in the semi-darkness when the tubes are glowing.
Unfortunately I can't find a picture that shows the glowing tubes.

An amplifier can bring so much relief to your life. Imagine being relieved every time you return home and find your house not burned to ashes.
He should switch to 805 or 845 tubes. They are much brighter!

Yikes! they are one ugly contraption.
I'm STUCK on Mcintosh and Cary. MC30, 60, 225, 240, 275, and Cary V12Rs. I have a few CJ, AR, and VTLs in the mix too. I'm not the biggest fan of SE (RCAs), so I just cut the number of valves I run, re-bias, and stick with the balanced Carys for the most part, along with BIG class D for any sub/bass duty.
I've NEVER had a fire in my home from any stereo gear, and I've had a few tubes explode (twice outside the glass) over the last 52 years.
EI KT90s both times in VTL Deluxe 300s. I till have a few piles of that crap for parts. FREE for the shipping if anyone wants them. Heavy suckers.
I rebuilt a guys C6 transmission in an old Ford pickup for one pair. I think he got the better deal even though it was a 2 day after work deal. 6-8 hours

As an artistic display, I have no problem with them. If they are actually used in systems, I'd wonder about heat entrapment shorting tubes' lives, and the possibility of the wood surroundings catching fire. I'd want a small fan trained on them when in use.Tiki Tube amps.
