I wanted to create a thread to discuss all things about Truthear IEMs.

To start off below is the Zero Blue 2, now at 65 usd.

It was thanks to the original Truthear Zero that I started using IEMs. I now own the Reds as well, and recently got a pair of Novas. All great, but the Novas are a real step up and my IEMs of choice. The Zero 2 looks interesting, but I'm not sure I'll bite.

Red 2 should be simple a briefing: Meta tuning, smaller nozzle, mic option. Looking forward to it (not announced, I am just speculating). :)

I know Crin mentioned in his video the Red 2 is coming but not soon, hopefully this is what we get.

The Zero Blue 2 is one I'm probably skipping since I have so many IEMs as it is and I'm more interested in delving into the "new meta" with any future purchases. Actually did some AutoEQ to tune my Nova to the JM-1 -10 dB tilt while keeping the bass untouched below 115 Hz and I'm intrigued by the results.

That was a harsh review, though his points seem fair and rational. What worries me the most too is foam tips bring used as reference.

Same here, Amir review opened a new door for me. I have never been interested in listening to music “seriously” with headphones. Practical for some situation but nothing more.
Since the Truthear Zero, I have been equally sharing my time between IEM and speakers for active listening.
It is also still my favorite of my 3 IEMs. The Hola and Crinacle Zero 2 are also excellent and worth every penny, but my better IEM experience is still the Truthear Zero.

I have two truthear Zeros. Both have a somewhat wide hosel that makes it hard for me to seat properly in my ear canal. Also, I left one pair and my FiiO BTR15 in Mexico.

So if anyone has replacement recommendations for either, LMK. Thanks. (The FiiO was pretty great, but the ergonomics are a little tough on older eyes)

Not sure if writing here or in the Moondrop related thread since it's something I noticed about both brands, maybe due to the supposed relationship between them, anyway since about two months now I'm seeing an increase in all their item prices, at least at my local amazon, sold by Shenzhenaudiostore
Some examples thanks to Keepa price tracker:

and, as said

Moondrop Dawn Pro (so no just the iems)

On various other brands, most sold by Linsoul, prices are the same as always,
Is it something jut for my country (italy) or is it the same for you?

We have not imposed tariffs on chinese audio products, at least not yet...

Seems like the race to the bottom is over and they agreed to increase prices...

thanks for sharing, I'm out from all social for a long time, anyway I was just curious if it was something related just to my country for whatever reasons, and for the rise being systematic only for TE\Moondrop products.
Maybe we'll see a more generalized rising then.

Well, I've got a pair that should deliver this weekend. I've been using both the original Blue and Red models continuously over the last year and a bit, typically when working out. The only issue I've had is that the original cable failed, replaced with one of the Linsoul models. So I'm excited to discover whether I can actually hear any improvements with the 2. It looks like EQ will be even less than the originals.

And no news yet from the Truthear Pure announced at the 2024 Shenzhen International Audio Show. It's been 6 months now, maybe they prioritized the Blue 2 and now will focus on finishing the Pure? Looking forward to it.

After the Truthear Gate gets here i'll have 4 Truthear IEM's in total, Red,Blue2,Hexa.. and then the gate, I wanted to get the Nova but got the Kiwi ears Aether instead.

I have and like a lot the Red and the Nova. The Hexa seems also ok, but I absolutely do not understand the latest iteration of the Blue, this treble peaks do no look like an improvement to me.
