CrinEar IEMs by Crinacle

Waiting for version Nightfall, with a more energetic, less laid back, active and impulsive sound.

;)

It doesn't make sense, especially now that USD\EUR exchange has fallen so much o_O

Converting $170 to £ it’s £124, but I guess with 20% vat (in uk) of £24.80 it ends up being £150 so fair enough I guess.

Well yes, accounting around 21% vat for EU we get to €179, so if it will be the final price then ok.

I am strongly considering buying the 170 usd Daybreak launching tomorrow.

Maybe a little too bassy for me but tips could tune it down somewhat.

Think I'll give it a pass as I don't need another iem that'd likely sit in a drawer, too much 1kHz to 5kHz for myself but as it's not limited release I'll wait and see.

Ordered.

Here is a review.

I’d buy the cable for my Meta as I prefer a right angle jack but there’s no point in buying a daybreak just for the cable, there’s 10 or so vids on YouTube

The aspect of the Daybreak which would make me worry a bit is the comparetively low 4-6k area.
I know many people want this area to be low because of sibilance, but it is also is an area which gives a lot of livelyness to many styles of music.
While I agree that this area can be really a pain when too hot, "the lower the better" is not the case either.

It is for myself, drop 2kHz through to 6Khz and I'm happy

...and sold out at the Hangout. I bet a zillion sold in 24 hours.

What is the purpose of these expensive IEMs when we already have much cheaper and still extremely well performing IEMs with Crinacles name on them? A slightly different tuning? A bit less plasticy? More money in Crinacles pockets?

They sound different/better

I keep checking but no ASR review? I would have thought it a priority. Wonder if Amirm had issues?
