CrinEar IEMs by Crinacle

Looking at the CanJam ads from #1, it seems only the Daybreak have flush nozzle, while both Meta and Reference will have lips?

Hopefully it is popular and the limited run will sell all the Meta iems. This will hopefully prompt a second wave of production which will not be limited.
All 500 sold out in 40 minutes and Crinacle talked about maybe producing another 499 units at most. He said "Project Series" are experimental models for testing the water.

I believe that if this tuning is popular, he'll release a mass production model in the future.

Second and apparently last 500 released exc hangout.audio.

Units 501 ~ 999
LAUNCHING 26TH MARCH 2025 9:00PM SGT (GMT +8)

(right now)

…and sold out again. A bit of a shame, this was one of the first times recently where I’ve considered picking up a new IEM after some years of being happy with my current selection. I guess I’ll have to wait for the next model to come out :)

Yeah it's sold out now but honestly if you EQ the Volume S you'll get something that's pretty special

Spoiler: after everyone receives their units and evaluate them, reviewers review them, and the hype settles down, I bet that then Crin is coming with a new video explaining what crazy driver configuration Project Meta uses that he did not want to disclose before to avoid prejudices. And customers were 999 blind test guinea pigs paying to evaluate his theory. How crazy would that be? :D

(unless someone breaks one open and publishes what drivers it uses, spoiling the surprise)

I'm glad the Meta sold well. Depending on the user reviews I may look for a pair on the used market some time in the future.

I'll reserve my first IEM blind buy for the Reference, as long as its production version FR looks as promising as the one measured by Super* Review.

There seems to be a bit of hype around the (lack of knowledge of )drivers . Imagine when it turns out to be 1dd and 2 BA

Let the driver fiends argue amongst themselves, it’s weird to see the fapping over massive driver count which needs a massive shell, give me a small shell/nozzle and tune it well.

One of my fav iem’s (Sony xba-n3) has only 1dd/1ba, is tiny and cost more than my purchased meta, not fussed in the slightest about driver count.

My other fav is the Symphonium Meteor with small shell and 4 ba’s.

I like the sound/bass of my Fat Freq HBB Deuce but the nozzle is way to big, I’ll probably end up selling this iem if the meta can take a bit of an eq shelf in the bass

I was in luck to pick up a pair of Meta's. I don't really have a need for it though, so if they're not amazing to me, one of y'all can take over my pair :)

Wonder if they go in order of order time or random . Not sure if it's 500 including review samples . If it is none of us are getting 001

Perhaps @crinacle can elaborate .

Review samples are separate from customer units and are all unserialised.

Units are sent out at random within batches (i.e. you won't get 001 if you're in the 501-999 batch). Good luck!

@crinacle, I placed my order the second it went live and you’ll see my confirmation email I received below, it shows a time of 2.00pm (uk time of release) - it’d be nice to get #001 but #007 would also be cool :D

Dang it . Should have rolled the dice and waited for batch 2 for 666, 777, 888.

But 069 would make me a happy boy
