THX cinema with pro cinema audio gear

i can't use it , due to type of B-chain i'm using , had they made dirac a 32 channel XLR dB25 , outboard box then i could integrate the dirac into my systems B-chain outputs , yes i could use it , but it means it mess up the rest of the systems extra decoding
EQ is ether handled a little by behringer DCX 2496 for five screen speakers
EQ handled by crown amplifiers for side and back surround arrays
EQ handled by Dolby SA10 for the overhead surrounds
EQ handled little by the stormaudio the rest with behringer FBQ 2496

scope , 2.35:1 decent transfer colours look natural
thinking it be mono mix must have a remix during the early 1990's and its rather decent better than most Dolby atmos upmixes

close encounters of the third kind 1977/1980 Dolby Stereo , lucasfilm ltd THX sound system
contents theatrical and special edition a bit distracting seems like a work-print version for the special edition
criterion collection picture seemed about okay decent some ufo scenes first encounter at train stop where some of the bright light was bit fair not overdone too much like other transfers i seen
Dolby Stereo seemed okay with mono matrix surround effects
bass and bass extension rumbled the room deeply

new laserdisc arrival this morning
sneakers 1992 , Dolby Stereo , lucasfilm ltd THX sound system
james horner score kicks out some deep bass chapter 9 " too many secrets " and sub bass extension notes via the Dolby CP200 and THX sound system , JBL
bass notes hard felt kicks to the stomach some bass notes appeared to move around and felt in the cinema seat
picture fraction noisy , appears to be free of EE edge engagement
but its the Dolby Stereo mix that stands out here in real THX sound system
also have on pal laserdisc and hd-dvd ( that's of course if the hd-dvd even plays ? ) the laserdisc is way better interactive wise and great entertainment for the home cinema
my cats are sneaking around for the sneakers as they have soft paws that's why a cat is good predator when soft paws are sneaking around behind you ? !

they are software processors that can be firmware updated they ain't actual hardware , i not seen hardware version for over 11 years now
these software versions have digital effect noise distraction that can be accompanied with them
listen carefully to the centre only , ( switch off all other channels and listen only to centre ) it has whooshy phasy-ness going on when music is playing , traditional pro-logic decoders don't have that issue

saw this at CIC/UCI tower park 1995 in one of two larger screens 5 , dts with its experimental overhead surrounds x8 EV speakers , EV stage LCR , no subs ,
using same experimental overhead surround on x9 JBL 8330A with few of the back wall surrounds JBL 8330 mk2
bass is dynamic with fixed or steerable panning sounds seems almost like being on water , thou technically would be lot different

out with friends , ( i didn't want to go ) dune 2 , bh2 odeon screen 9 , Dolby 7.1 , a bore boring feast it was , i mostly walked out walk around look at the other screens
i didn't want to see this movie , first one online watched 5.1 , and skipped though it to the end credits and watched listened and saw how lousy the hans zimmer music again looked on the VU level meters L R far too loud with centre -10 or -15dB too quiet , who mixes like that ? so naturally i didn't like , dune at all , typical with his music mixing
JBL professional couldn't tell which stage channels must be three-way ,
JBL 9310 lost count , i think x8 on back wall and maybe another x8 each sidewall
JBL 5628 duel 18" x2 laying on concrete floor carpet , that's about 72" cone area , surprised they were felt in the recliners lower stalls row c impact LFE bass was okay
micro perforated screen instead of the standard perforation
actual odeon and Dolby deafening labs and re-recording mixers need to make these movies quieter on louder scenes ( mostly wearing earplugs yet again ) or install audio limiters to clamp down on MF HF horns as earplugs filter off the louder unrealistic scenes that don't even fall into the equation of psychoacoustics
boring ghsotbusters , cowbusters , milkbusters another cash cow , didn't like the last one , didn't like ghostbusters 2 , like the first one 1984 , the atmosbusters is what they are selling on the sound and 3d , simply i just don't like new movies or cinema anymore , not been back to bh2 since 2021 , walked out of movie after 15 mins of screen 10 couldn't stand the deafening level and putting my earplugs in every few minutes
stepping out to look at the other screens , while my friends get their hearing perforated lol by dune , i mean duneafening !! they remarked in the car it was too loud and off putting at times , slow movie ( bore feast ) builds up to action then deafening ,
temperature appeared okay to one friend he felt chilly as i noticed the air conditioning turning on from above felt gentle breeze of air
we took our own food snakes and drink , pay those prices are you kidding
odd one of the advertisements was chocolate biscuits , yet i doubt they sell them in the foyer , just getting our ears plastered with samsumg mobile phone ads , twice ! ! no make that three times ! sigh
peeping into screen 10 atmos JBL , don't like the screen split ear shattering deafening , they should sell earplugs so customers can wear them when over the 85dBA limit in frequency
screen 9 , dune end credits and walked around screen 9 to check the JBL surrounds 9310 which was at the back of the auditorium , deafening noisy noise mixing ! !

the abyss 4k is pure garbage trash
not worthy of , lucasfilm ltd THX sound system
only took few mins to know the dvd r1 was better for sound and well the laserdisc eats and spits out lossless so called dolby true atmos
cat litter tray is only place for this 4k disc james cameron , lay of the DNR and this rubbish AI and those near field mixes mixed for a soundbar , really now

raindrops , even the doctor i saw this afternoon and asked question , do you think you can hear rain free-falling ? she answered with correct , " no its silent ", , yes that is until those raindrops land on multiple surface objects or ground surface
