yes use LCR And two in ceiling atmos!
that's 8330A!
It has a trinnov
i improve those overheads with additional pro-logic IIx decoders , pro-logic is okay it produce new centre middle between each height 1 2 3 4 5 ( depending on how many are used for overhead ) ?
$200 for cheap onkyo AVR that has PLIIx decoder connect the overhead surround outputs from main processor to
height 1 connected to PLIIx L R connected to the usually LR with centre connected to new middle speaker placed between LR a sort of LCR basically that is it
height 2 connected to PLIIx repeat the same
height 3 connected to PLIIx repeat the same
height 4 connected to PLIIx repeat the same
height 5 connected to PLIIx repeat the same
the AVR amplifers often between 160watts 210watts would be more than enough power
the extra outputs on the PLIIx side surround and rear surround can be placed somewhere maybe else on ceiling sidewalls on the floor , " experimentation "
there are multiple of tracks mono or stereo with each track overlay may have some type of effects processing or something going on within the signal a PLIIx decoder will extend the sound
additionally audyssey can be used and should be or , ( can't use any EQ ahead of the PLIIx it will mess up decoding EQ )
some atmos mix , few and far between use a good use of stereo overheads where others i noticed mono the signal maybe phantom imaged between the speakers ,
