Saw this new product and had a bit of a laugh.

The first headphone amplifier product with a soul, guys!

:)
At first I thought this thing would be a complete ripoff, but for UNDER $2, what a steal. Then I went to order one, and the price jumped in the cart. That should be illegal.

Using a dot as a delimiter to indicate thousands is common in Europe. I think Ferrum are from Poland, so no surprises there to be honest.

Using anything but a whitespace as a delimiter in official writing online is bound to be interpreted wrong by someone, somewhere.

mmm, That's when the decimal point became a comma. ...Probably around 1970, when metric happened (S . Africa.) But I hardly ever see it nowadays, thank goodness. The money always stayed like 1.00

Who's soul is in that amplifier? 1.995 apparently translates to 1,995.

You want soul? Easy-peasy: get a Kia.

Aside from the (inaudible ?) hum it seems to be a good amp.
Must be because it has a soul.

1.000 = one (with three decimal places)
1,000 = one (with three decimal places)
1'000 = one thousand
1'000'000.00 = one million (with two decimal places)

This is the only sensible way, imho. Everything else is idiocy in global communication.

That is a good thing as one will need to sell his/her own soul to the devil to afford this overpriced AMP..
Yeah I thought this amp performed not too bad, that is until I saw the selling price :D

The one that always trips me up is the Indian 2,2,3 convention for digit grouping: 10,00,000 = one million.

Yes! ...Still gets me, after so many years. 10,000 lakh, 10 crore. I've never remembered it properly, the visual...kind of doesn't fit.

:-s Yes, soulless, that goes with sterile, clinical (a weird one), all related to musicality, I suppose.
