The electronics are good enough for now, although more amplifier power would be nice at some stage. I would focus on the speakers, since it is the speakers that actually produce the sound. Right now my favourite budget compacts are the Wharfedale Diamond 220's - selling for about 150 euros a pair over here. Their greatest weakness is in the bass, but since you already have a subwoofer that is not a problem. The Wharfedales should leave you some budget for a Umik-1 measurment microphone. With REW and Equalizer Apo you can equalize the response below 200-300 Hz. The alternative is to save longer, buy e.g. the Elac DBR62, and later on also a more powerful amplifier.
