What's the difference you are referring to? You meant the Sanskrit mkii? I have used Amir's multitone file before, Amir's multitone file seems to be very hot but no real clipping. DACs may get internal clipping or perform worse in Amir's test. But it's still legit. If you compare to a different dac in Amir's measurements, you can still get the idea.

I am referring to the difference in the multitone test measured by Amir and WolfX-700. How could it be that there is a differnce of 10db? Did they use diffrent multitone files, diffrent sampling rates? What caused the diffrence of 10%? That is what i can't understand.

Can be caused by different files. Different settings. Unit variation.
It's mostly only happening with devices that measure poorly in the measurement. If you look at D10s, there's no such discrepancy.

Yeah you are right Topping seems to be the better buy option.

But i am still interested in a scientific explanation, but i think i will never get one. @amirm / @WolfX-700

I already explained in previous post.
1, Multitude file from Amir is closer to clipping.
2, Unit variation from AK4493 or M300 mkii.

Thank you very much, i have learned something new.

I still can't decide between those two, so i think i am going with a used Topping D50, still seems good enough to never hear a difference.

Or the cheapest option is staying with my good old Fiio X5 MkII and Fiio A5.
Measurements look good on this site:
https://reference-audio-analyzer.pro/en/report/dac/fiio-x5-ii-steep.php#rw21&gsc.tab=0

I don't know. There are so many options nowadays, hard to decide.

the doubt is that the sms has Two pieces of Japanese ultra-low phase noise clocks. The topping e30 has clocks ??
