Happy new year, everyone. I wanted to share a project that I thought this crowd might appreciate.

It's basically a collection of portraits where photographic noise is the subject as much as the people depicted. A bit of a musing on what you might find while crawling around on the noise floor.

Looks like the S/N ratio is about 3dB or so, maybe less.
I bet someone on the forum can create a music file with a similar S/N ratio and post it so we can hear the audio equivalent. I bet the result isn't as 'pleasing' as the pictures.
Pink noise may be in the same 'vain' as the picture above.

Yeah, I think it would sound a bit like the last gasps of a radio station as you drive out of range.

Cool idea to quantify the s/n of these. It probably varies ... I haven't entirely settled on how much noise is just right.
