Hope it will not enough expansive to not buy another DAC... I really like the SU8 but to old to struggle with the microscopic screen...

Any news on a matching amp? I've been considering the SMSL DA-8s to drive bookshelf speakers set up on a desk, but will wait if a 9 model is on the way.
Around late october ~ mid-november. But they can move the deadlines, as has already been done many times.

Will there be a V2?
Yes, it's the successor to SU-8. Here, it is talked about as SU-8s.
There will be an official announcement of the release on September 30th.
It was a joke. SMSL has had a history of fixing things in V2..
