I have the Oppo PM-1’s and a Yamaha AS 2100 amp. At the moment, I have the small Yamaha box (WXA-10) linked up to the AS2100 if I want to stream from iPhone to main speakers via the amp. Also have a Technics SL1200 plugged into the amp.
Currently have the Lehmann Linear as my headphone amp, but was mulling over the Oppo HA-1 as a replacement.

You’re right about the features. It’s still hard to replace in 2025.

What other DACs have a USB OTG iOS system volume compatible port on the FRONT panel? - I realize this port (1 of its 2 usb inputs) is limited to redbook but with 32bit digital system volume control and bypass I don’t mind at all. It works great.

It’s the only 13lb “Class A” iPad charger I’m aware of

But a serious question for the forum -

Are there any other DACc / digital preamps/ headamps that will charge your iOS device, allow volume control from your device, without adapters and converters preferably from a port on the FRONT pannel?

I can’t seem to find anything. You would think it would be something people would want.
