This is NOT a plant I grew. A friend of a friend of a friend MAYBE did it, in a country where it's legal, anyway.

I worked as as chocolatier from 2009 to 2018 till I had to quit due to worsening of my MS so I combined my talents and made these, 50 Rum & Raisin & Hazelnut cream balls made with 2 oz of my best buds from above buds using cannabis bud butter method, filled dark chocolate shells, coated in Callebaut Ecuador 70% dark chocolate, rolled in toasted coconut. Bloody powerful, could lock you to a couch for 6 hours and send you into a state of deep relaxation and utter contentment, perfect for the reason outlined below

Made for a close mate below who was dying from osophegeal cancer (utterly horrible), married to my best mate (my ex of 20 years ago)

Sadly died due to brain tumour, within a few months of close friend above, still hurts like hell 6 years later.

Same year my Dad retired at 69 and was diagnosed with blood cancer the following week, he died 3 months later. I was diagnosed with SPMS 2 days after dad’s funeral.

2018 was not a good year, not a good year at all.

Thankfully I’m able to look at the pics of my mate and Toby now without wibbling, I see my best mate above practically every day and their son is now 15 & 6ft 3”.

Japanese traditional Hinamatsuri (Hina Festival, Girls' Day) doll set

Today, February 10, we (my wife and me) decorated our traditional Hinamatsuri (Hina Festival) doll set (height 180 cm x width 130cm x depth 160 cm); it takes almost 4 hours every year. The doll set should be displayed in our room only during the day before Setsubun (which was February 3 this year) through 3 March Girls' Day. We affectionately call these dolls Ohina-sama.

It has been said we should put them away in the dedicated storage boxes as soon as after the Girls' Day March 3 otherwise daughters would not find good husbands for long... Fortunately our daughter already found one and gave birth of their boy and girl (our beloved grandchildren).

In my home, therefore, the beloved doll set is displayed as shown below (in the connected Japanese style room, next to out living/listening room) until the end of March, and then we usually put away into boxes just before the cherry blossoms which shall come suddenly in the first week of April. (My daughter living away has another smaller version of the doll set for her girl; these are the traditional sequences...)

We also have traditional five musicians! (The Angel Musicians, on the other hand, usually appear in Christmas Season, ref. here.)

And three servants, also... The center one is carrying Emperor's shoes.

You can see how gorgeous their wearing cloths are;

The Empress' marriage furniture and tea ceremony set, as well as the palanquin and the ox carriage, are also gorgeous.

Historical research, architectural survey sand archaeological excavations show that it was built by piling, destroying, reconstructing and restoring, over more than a millennium.

Our main stereo setup in dedicated audio room / home office
- Mac Mini M2 as a Roon Core server with USB audio output
- SMSL SU-9n DAC
- Benchmark LA4 pre-amp
- Neat Acoustics Motive 1 floor-standing speakers passively bi-amped with:
- Buckeye Purifi 1ET400A Eigentakt based 2-ch power amp (for mids + highs)
- Audiophonics LPA-S500NC 2-ch nCore NC502MP based power amp (for bass drivers)
- even an SVS sub (lol )

Clearly an overkill 10x in terms of available power and headroom … but why not?
With such affordable ultra high quality class D power amplification available - it’s such fun
