My father's work truck was a '66 Econoline van that was much beloved by him -- and me. As I reflect on it now, I don't remember my mother ever riding in it.

He had that van for a long time. Indeed, when it became undriveable, he used it as a storage shed for several years before finally getting rid of it in the late '80s or early 90s.
