! Amazing the difference velocity makes. Like the difference between high velocity .22 /5.56 and pistol .22, but this is way more extreme.

A massive aluminum block hit by a 1-inch, half-ounce (14g) plastic cylinder at 15,200mph (~Mach 20).

This is just amazing.

So, the flying 14 g plastic cylinder gave almost all of its kinetic energy to the massive aluminum block and vaporized itself and the block, right?
