Great .... part of my family is French - I was born in France - the other part is Chinese... you sure know that there are many Chinese from Hong-Kong in La Réunion Island. They came long time ago and today they are French.

I was delighted by the mild temperatures in Hokkaido even in October, while it was still stiflingly muggy in Tokyo. And like a dummy, what's the first meal I order in Tokyo but hot udon! I've since discovered the wonders of chilled noodle dishes.
